John E. Paget was most recently president of Avnet Technology Solutions, Global and was responsible for leading the strategic direction of the group worldwide.  He oversaw the day-to-day operations in each of the three geographic regions where Avnet Technology Solutions operates in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Prior to joining Avnet, Mr. Paget was president of the Technology Solutions Division of Synnex Corporation, where he was credited with the success ofdriving the company's focus on higher-end solutions.  Prior to that position, he was president of Aunnex North America and chief operating officer.  He previously held the position of senior vice president and general manager of GE Technology Financial Services, a part of GE Commercial Finance, a General Electric Company.  Prior to GE Technology Financial Services, Mr. Paget served as president and chief executive officer of GE Access, a worldwide distributor of Sun Microsystems and complementary products.Â

Mr. Paget has also held management-level positions in services, sales and marketiing operations with many manufacturers, including Compaq Computer Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and Xerox Corporation.  Mr. Paget received a bachelor's of science degree in administrative services from Pepperdine University.
